The biggest OJU tournament ever, is only weeks away. This year’s Oceania Open is once again being hosted in the beautiful beachside city of Wollongong, Australia (13-14 November) and will be followed by a 1-day international training camp on Sunday 15 November 2015.
With 200 of the world’s best judoka representing 40 nations expected, this year’s event will be massive. Among the participants are Olympians and Olympian hopefuls alike. The tournament is an important stagepoint for honing the sword, benchmarking against potential adversaries, and of course, gaining those vital World Ranking Points on the Road to Rio. Nations yet to register a team need to be quick (final cut off 23 October 2015).
